2007. Ayala Moriel Parfums, the first natural perfume house in Canada and one of
the very few in the world to offer bespoke services (signature perfumes), opens
the doors of its Vancouver-based studio-store to the public. The studio will
offer its full product range of over 40 distinct fragrances, as well as personal
fragrance consultations and workshop series.
The independent artisan perfume house, Ayala
Moriel Parfums, prides itself for providing the most personalized fragrance
services in the fragrance industry, tailored to each individual’s needs. Ayala
Sender, the nose behind Ayala Moriel Parfums, has nearly 7 years of experience
in natural perfumery, offered worldwide through the online store, www.ayalamoriel.com,
and until recently, only to the very lucky few who knew about her hidden
fragrant paradise at the heart of downtown Vancouver.
For the first time, Ayala is letting you in on
her secret: From now on you can meet the perfumer in person in her own atelier,
and participate in the exciting process of creating your one-of-a-kind signature
perfume. Ms. Sender guides her clients through the scented paths of over 200
natural essences from around the world, and help you translate your innermost
dreams and distill them into pure perfume. “The process is akin to strolling
in the forking paths of one giant botanical garden”, Ms. Sender describes the

The bespoke services offered include a personalized Fragrance Consultations
and designing Signature Perfumes in an interactive, creative process that

Moriel also develops all-natural perfumes and scented products for private

ABOUT THE PERFUMER
Ayala Sender, the Nose behind Ayala Moriel Parfums creates perfumes that are
inspired by her deepest emotions and memories from her childhood landscapes
of the Mediterranean. "My art stems from my love and longing for the
Mediterranean natural and cultural landscape" Ayala says, "It is
strongly
rooted in those ancient and colourful aromatic traditions".
Ms. Sender¹s work is influenced by her eclectic background in fine art,
music, philosophy, psychology and education. "Perfumery is my means for
self
expression, and where all my interest integrate into a beautiful whole"
says
Ayala. "My perfumes tell a story. They capture a moment in time, an
emotion,
a memory, and entice you in to their world". Combined with an intuitive
understanding of each individual¹s need for self expression through
personalized fragrance, Ayala creates customized Signature Perfumes as well
as ready-to-wear perfumes. "My perfumes have their own personality and
evolve with time almost like real living people" tells Ayala. "When I
make a
perfume for a person, I help them to translate who they are into a beautiful
perfume that is as complex and multi-faceted as they are".
Born in Montreal and raised in a small organic village in Israel, Ms. Sender
learned to appreciate the precious natural aromatics of the world at an
early age. "I was raised amongst aromatics such as labdanum, mastic, broom,
hyssop and sage that grew wild on the hills, and the herbal gardens that we
cultivated for medicinal purposes", says Ayala. "Ironically, only once
I
moved back to Canada, did I discover that these are some of the most
important essences for perfumery, and so I decided to re-create my memories
by incorporating them into my own original perfume compositions". Ms.
Sender
currently resides in Vancouver, where she founded her independent perfume
house - Ayala Moriel Parfums.
