Uniquely You is a well designed and interesting aromatherapy website. The only complaint we really had with it was the navigation. Although plainly marked on the side panels, we would have appreciated if the links were also in the main part of the page, especially when the subjects were in blue as was the case on many pages.

However this is a small Quibble.

Overall, Uniquely You has lots of information from inspirational messages to recipes, to essential oil information to Breast cancer information, weight loss and more.

One of the first things we checked was safety information, did they have any? The answer to this is yes and its quite good information too.

Prominently posted were also links to the Rain Drop Therapy White Paper and the most recent article written by Dr. Eva Briggs about Gary Young.

We also checked Uniquely Yous prices for their products and found them to be competitively priced. No price gouging here, also no sign of rubbish oils such as wintergreen.

This website also has a page that suggests book titles and while there were some that we considered to be Cotton-Candyish there were also some excellent ones.

Over all, we give this website 4 rating (out of 5) and highly recommend it!

Aromatherapy Outlet is also well designed without harsh garish colors and they state upfront that they always have new oils from new sources tested for purity and quality. They also state that not all of their oils are tested especially those from companies with which they have been doing business with for a long time. This reviewer wondered if their Wintergreen from Nepal was tested.

They had a lot of good information on site, however when we tried to click on the Safety Information link, there was no page to be found.

The navigation was quite good and the feel of the website was friendly.

While Checking out their prices for essential oils, we found them to range from good to a bit on the high side, especially on the more expensive oils, however it certainly wasnt in the area of gouging!

On the whole however, we dont have much against this website except for the lack of safety information. Without it we can only give it a 3 rating (out of 5), but still recommend it over many out there. If they get their safety information back up and its GOOD safety info we would be delighted to raise their rating to a 3.5.

Camden Grey Essential Oils While the site is a little slow to load, the colors are soft on the eyes. This is a well designed site and the navigation is easy to follow. Pages tend to be rather long, it might be better if they split some of their longer pages into two or even three different pages.

This site is exactly what they appear to be, a shopping site with none of the extra "Frills" one would find on sites owned and operated by the more 'Sharing' Aromatherapist. Although, one extra thing in their favor, they did list three different lists that appeal to thier customers probable interest, from toiletry to soap and aromatherapy.

They had a lot of good essential oil information, including the safety data, two small quibbles with this, the page was WAY too long and we would have liked to see the safety info on it's own page as well. It's too easy to be missed when it's bundled in with the Essential Oil information.

The products were varied and most were priced quite well, there were a couple of the "exotics" that seem to be rather over blown, but this was definately not the norm. One little negative: this is another site that offers Wintergreen for sale.

Their selection of books that they offer ranged from "Fru-Fru to some rather good ones. We also liked the range of selections they offered.

On the whole, this reviewer really liked this site and 'Highly Recommends' it. 3.7 out of 5 *****************************************************

Appalacian Valley Natural Products.

When the first page opens the first thing you see is a huge logo, it takes up most of page in view. That was a bit distracting. Other than that, the site is easy on the eyes without any harsh glaring colors.

The navigation of AVNP was a bit haphazard. Some pages had no links back or forward and one link took me to a dead page. I also would have liked more links on the pages than just the one that always took me back to the front page.

I also found some of the pages to be way too long. While it was convienient to have everything on one page, there was just too much scrolling to make it comfortable. The page containing the essential oils was a prime example of this.

The oils themselves were excellently priced and I was very happy to see no Wintergreen. I really also liked the information accompanying the oils, for example, whether or not they were wild harvested, organically grown, steam distilled, etc.

The page which contains the "indepth" information about the oils is apparently still a workin progress, however the information that was there, unlike many sites with dry and factual information, has a personal touch and feel to it and you know the author of it knows his or her stuff.

I was disappointed to not see any safety information, however there were tons of excellent links leading to pages that had all the safety information one could want.

Over all, I really liked this site. It has a homey/folksy feeling to it, its a site that although it has some flaws, none of them serious enough to detract from that personal feeling or to prevent one looking around. The products were varied and the prices were excellent. I highly recommend this site. 4.2
